My first Flight to Shanghai, China

   On 18th June 2011 flying with TG662 Aircraft 333.

Wokeup at 19:30. Leave the house around 20:30 Check-in before 22:30.

Flight Take-off at 00:30 on the 19th. Flight time was 4hours and 15 minutes.

Landed in Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 05:45(Local time).

Stayed in Sheraton Hotel & Residences Pudong. (R668K)

The weather: Raining with temperasure around 27-32 C.

The hotel is nice. Free Wifi on lobby but cost 50 Yuan($8) for 1hour internet or 100 Yuan($16) for 1day in your room.

The air conditioning is bad.It was hot, I thought only my room was hot because the Air conditioning was broken or something. After asking around few crews said the same thing. Maybe it meant for the winter and only Heater is good.

Hotel's restaurant called "China Court" has awesome peking duck menu. ( some menu are 50% off for crew).

There's KFC across the road.

Department store next to the hotel (walk 100 meter east). On the 4 floors ( Men clothing) walk west until you see a restaurant called " HOT CHILLI) the price is nice and they said the food is good. Sadly I walked into the wrong restaurant. Which is right next to HOT CHILLI  T_T

I took a taxi to Shanghai Science & Technology Museum. It only cost 15 Yuan($3) and around 5-10mintues.

I didn't went into the Museum, instead I walked to the back of the Museum. This is where the Shopping Area are.

The shopping Area sells Fake Brands Bags, Watches, clothing, jewelry, etc. Lots of store but mainly sells the same things.

Bargain them!!   If you want something. Seller will said it cost 1,000 Yuan($155) but will sell for 700 Yuan($109)  Tell them you want it at 20 Yuan ($4). They will be like " no..no that is like buying a pair of sock" then you just walk away. The seller will follow you and say " ok ok 50 Yuan" or something.. If they don't then go to the next store and up the price a bit. Maybe to 30 Yuan($6).

Metro Station Subway is way inside the shopping area. It cost 4 Yuan($0.6) to go to Nanjing Station. That would be 4 stations before getting off the subway. After arriving at Nanjing walk east cross a big road and few small blocks. You will reach The Bund. A great view to have picture taken.

After The Bund. I took taxi back to the hotel cost around 25 Yuan($4).

My first Flight to Incheon, South Korea

   On 16th May 2011 flying with TG634 Aircraft 333.

Wokeup at 2am. Leave the house around 3am. Check-in before 5am.

Flight Take-off at 7:22am landed in Taipei at 11:58am(Local time).

Take-off  again at 12:58pm landed in Incheon at 16:22pm(Local time).

Stayed in Best Western Premier Hotel near the airport. (R1607T)

The weather is nice, around 15-20 C.

Korean crew told me that you can see cherry bloosoms(sakura) around second week in March.

There isn't much to do near this hotel. There's an E-mart across the road (something like original supermarkets).

You can take bus no.213 to the town. bus fee 1,000 Won($1).

On the way to the town there's a school and a basketball court in front.
